Professional Affairs committee

The KPhA Professional Affairs Committee’s purpose is to develop and recommend educational programming, best practices, and legislative agenda items regarding contemporary pharmacy practice in alignment with the strategic plan of the association. 

Standing Charges

  1. Build and maintain membership Subject Matter Experts catalog for creating re pore for legislative testimony and public awareness. 
  2. Solicit nominations for Board of Directors elections and future committee members. 
  3. Recommend potential areas for professional advancement to GAC in order of importance that also supports the current and future trends of pharmacy advancement. 
  4. Create educational strategies for public and legislators for proposed legislation.
